Darling's calendar revolves around three highlights: the wildflower season (Aug–Sep), Evita se Perron shows year-round, and the Voorkamerfest arts weekend. In between, the wine route and farm visits offer a relaxed Swartland experience. It's a town that rewards slow exploration.
Evita se Perron
Darling Railway Station, Pastorie Street
SA's premier political satire venue. Pieter-Dirk Uys performs as Evita Bezuidenhout and other characters. Shows Wed–Sat. The venue also houses a museum of SA political memorabilia, a gift shop and a restaurant. A uniquely South African cultural experience.
