Things to Do

Wolfberg Arch, San rock art, rooibos route, Clanwilliam Dam and Cederberg hiking adventures.

Clanwilliam is where the West Coast meets the Cederberg mountains. This small town is the commercial centre of the rooibos tea industry and the gateway to some of South Africa's best hiking, rock art and wilderness experiences. It's further from Cape Town than the coastal towns (2.5 hours), but the combination of tea, rock art, hiking and dam life makes it a destination in its own right.
